Day 1: You will arrive at Baltra airport in the morning, then you will be transferred to the Danubio Azul boat. Here, youāll meet your crew and be given a brief introduction of the itinerary for the day. In the afternoon, youāll head to Carrion Point. This site may be your first proper dive after your check-out dive because it is frequently dived before the big steam north to Darwin and Wolf. Additionally, there are some creatures that are almost always present, like sea lions.
Day 2: Visit Bartholomew Island early in the morning. Bartholomew is an extinct volcano with such a wide range of red, orange, black, and even green volcanic structures. It is the location of the renowned Pinnacle Rock. The volcano’s summit, which offers one of the amazing sights of the islands, can be reached via a stairway trail. The beach is the ideal place for snorkeling and potential Galapagos penguin sightings. In the afternoon, head to Santiago’s Island, Cousin Rock. Return to the yacht for dinner onboard.
Day 3: Our first tour visit of the day will be Wolf Island. In the midday, youāll visit El Derrumbe. This island only receives live-aboard dive ships; there are no land visits. The only divers who should dive here are experts. The currents can be quite strong, the surge is substantial, and visibility is frequently poor. Here, one can see some enormous and impressive creatures, including dolphins, hammerhead sharks, and whale sharks. Come back for dinner onboard.
Day 4: In the morning, visit Darwin Island. Considered a āmarine wonderlandā, Darwinās Island is perfect for diving. Among the animals you can run across when diving here are hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, rays, green turtles, and a variety of tropical reef fish. Return to the yacht for dinner onboard.
Day 5: On this day, visit Darwinās Bay. Also known as a paradise to watch birds, Darwin Bay is a stunning white coral beach with sally lightfoot crabs, marine iguanas, sea lions, and great frigatebirds as residents where you can go for 1-2 hours long walks. Here you will see red-footed boobies and gulls, which stop to rest on the rock cliffs. Head back to the yacht for dinner and rest.
Day 6: Our first tour visit of the day will be Wolfās Island. The diving areas surrounding Isla de los Lobos de Galapagos are composed of volcanic platforms, cliffs, and underwater caverns that are filled with a variety of marine life. Wolf is also famous because the vampire finch is a well-known and unique native to be on the lookout for (also known as the sharp-nosed ground finch). In the afternoon, head to Shark Bay. This shark biomass needs to be seen to be believed. The currents are strong once more, so divers should seek out the secure shelter of underwater rocks to relax and observe the activity. Return to the yacht for dinner onboard.
Day 7: On this day, our first morning visit will be to Cape Marshall. This dive site is known for its large marine life, including manta rays, hammerhead sharks, sunfish (Mola mola), and occasionally enormous schools of the endemic salema. In the afternoon, head to Egas Port. Egas Port, also known as James Bay, is where the observant Galapagos hawks and swift Galapagos lava lizards can be found. The pathway takes to a coastline with stunning tide pools and flora-filled grottos.
Day 8: On your final day, youāll visit North Seymour. On North Seymour Island, there are numerous Magnificent Frigatebirds, Blue-footed Boobies, land iguanas, and Galapagos Sea Lions. A series of submerged lavas that contained sediment layers and were exhilarated by tectonic movements gave rise to the island. Return to yacht and transfer to Baltra Airport.
