Day 1: Arrival in Galapagos and check-in to the Koln ship. Afternoon visit to Las Bachas Beach, a stunning white-sand beach surrounded by mangrove forests. Observe the sea turtles nesting on the beach and the flamingos in the nearby lagoons.
Day 2: Full-day excursion to Santa Cruz Island and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Learn about the conservation efforts of the Galapagos giant tortoises and other endemic species. Visit the Tortoise Breeding Center to see the giant tortoises in their natural habitats.
Day 3: Visit to North Seymour Island, home to the largest colony of frigatebirds in the Galapagos. Observe the impressive mating rituals of the frigatebirds and the nesting colonies of blue-footed boobies and swallow-tailed gulls. Walk the island’s trails to see the land iguanas and the colorful sally lightfoot crabs.
Day 4: Full-day excursion to San Cristobal Island and visit the Interpretation Center. Day 1: Arrival in Galapagos and check-in to the Koln ship. Afternoon visit to Mosquera Island, a narrow islet located between Baltra and North Seymour Islands. Observe the sea lions sunbathing on the beach and the shorebirds flying overhead.
Day 2: Full-day excursion to EspaƱola Island, the southernmost island in the Galapagos. Visit Suarez Point, known for its unique geological formations and the nesting colonies of blue-footed boobies and albatrosses. Walk the island’s trails to see the iguana colonies and the diverse landscapes.
Day 3: Visit to Floreana Island, one of the earliest inhabited islands in the Galapagos. Day 1: Visit to Santa Cruz Island and its highlands, a volcanic island with diverse landscapes and seascapes. Day 2: Visit to Mosquera Islet, a small, sandy island located between North Seymour and Baltra Islands. Day 6: Full-day excursion to Isabela Island, the largest island in the Galapagos and the most active volcano in the world. Visit the Tintoreras, a group of islets with clear waters and abundant marine life, including sea lions, penguins, and the white-tipped reef sharks. In the afternoon, visit the Wall of Tears, a historic site and a symbol of the penal colony that existed on the island.
Day 7: Visit to Santiago Island, a volcanic island with diverse landscapes and seascapes. Observe the wild sea lions, iguanas, and the endemic Santiago mockingbird. Walk the island’s trails to see the diverse landscapes, including the Buccaneer’s Cove, a scenic bay surrounded by cliffs and lava formations.
Day 8: Full-day excursion to Fernandina Island, the youngest and the most pristine island in the Galapagos. Observe the largest colony of flightless cormorants in the Galapagos and the diverse wildlife, including the marine iguanas, sea lions, and the penguins. Walk the island’s trails to see the volcanic landscapes and the scenic beaches. Return to the Koln ship for a transfer to the airport.
