Day 2: Boat excursion to Santiago Island to see land and marine iguanas, and a great variety of birds such as frigate birds, albatross and red-billed boobies. Snorkeling at Espumilla beach to see hammerhead sharks, tropical fish and rays.
Day 3: Lobos Island, which means “Sea Lion Island,” is the destination of an early morning excursion. When you arrive on San Cristobal Island, you will be greeted by boastful, amusing sea lions who will show you around their community. Then proceed to Kicker Rock, a rock formation a few hours’ drive from San Cristobal’s western shore, where you can practice kayaking and snorkeling. Head to Pitt Point in the late afternoon, where you can see many different bird species. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 4: You will travel to Santa Fe Island (Barrington), which has a small, lovely bay with the same name. Two visitor trails are available at the bay, one of which extends from a small beach to a large prickly pear cactus forest. The other leads to a picturesque viewpoint perched atop a cliff. You will travel to South Plaza Island in the afternoon, which is home to one of the biggest sea lion colonies and vibrant yellow and red land iguanas. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 5: Start your day early at Darwin Bay’s White Coral Beach, which winds through mangroves teeming with land birds. There is a path that leads to tidal pools where playful sea lions swim. This trail ends with a breathtaking view of a cliff. You will travel to El Barranco, also known as Prince Phillip’s Steps, in the afternoon. El Barranco is a steep, rocky path that ascends to a high cliff face where you can see a variety of local fauna. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 6: The day starts with a trip to Santiago island’s Sullivan Bay, where you can see elevations in the shape of miniature volcanoes that were created by lava flows during the area’s recent formation. The famous Pinnacle Rock is located on Bartholomew Island, where you will travel in the afternoon for one of the best views of the islands. Snorkeling is also a great activity here. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 7: Due to its red sand beach in the archipelago and its popularity as a snorkeling spot, Rabida Island is one of the most vibrant and volcanically diverse islands. You will visit it after breakfast. You will go to the Chinese Hat Islet in the afternoon. The distinctive shape of the islet’s summit is where its name comes from. Many geological formations, including lava flows and tubes, can be seen in this area. Enjoy dinner onboard.
Day 8: You will be moved from the boat to Baltra airport to catch your flight back to the mainland after breakfast and after landing in Puerto Ayora.

SAT Baltra Airport
(8 days B)
Day 1: The Twin Craters, which are not actually craters but rather rock formations made when surface material collapsed in underground fissures and chambers, will be your first stop after landing at Baltra Airport. The scenery is magnificent. And ideal for taking photographs. You will then eat lunch at a nearby restaurant before being driven to the Reina Silvia yacht. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 2: You will travel to Cormorant Point in the early morning, where there is a sizable flamingo lagoon. You can also visit a white sand beach made of white coral and a beach with green sand made of olivine crystals. My next trip will be to Champion Islet, which is a great location for dolphin watching and snorkeling. After lunch, proceed to Post Office Bay, where whalers installed an unauthorized mail box. At the foot of the hill are the two locations. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 3: Disembarking at Moreno Point Moreno on Isabela’s north coast will be the first activity of the day. From there, you’ll walk through a path of solidified lava to a coastal lagoon where you can see a variety of birds. You will travel to Elizabeth Bay after lunch in order to see the Marielas islets.
Day 4: You will arrive at Urbina Bay in the morning, where you can see some captivating rock layers as well as stingrays and sea turtles swimming close to the surface of the water. The highlight of the island, the nesting site of the flightless cormorant, can be found after arriving at Espinosa Point in the afternoon. En route, you’ll pass by a colony of marine iguanas and a pack of sea lions. Day’s end and dinner served aboard.
Day 5: Following breakfast, you will travel to Tagus Cove, which is next to Fernandina Island and has been a popular anchorage spot for ships. Then, head to Vicente Roca Point in the afternoon; this location is a sizable bay with amazing marine life. Seahorses, turtles, and the odd but fascinating Mola mola should all be observed (or sunfish). Return to the yacht for dinner.
Day 6: Go to Espumilla Beach in the morning to see playful sea lions, fur seals, and various seabird species. Snorkeling is also recommended here. After lunch, you will travel to Santiago Island’s Egas Port, also known as James Bay, which is home to the observant Galapagos hawks and swift Galapagos lava lizards. An excellent location for snorkeling is here. Return to the yacht for dinner.
Day 7: Go to Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz’s north shore in the early morning. This location, where you can also see animals like flamingos, hermit crabs, and sea turtles, is one of the few reminders of the American presence in the Galapagos during World War II. You will travel to North Seymour in the afternoon, where you can see the Galapagos sea lions, blue-footed boobies, and majestic frigate birds that are common on the island.
Day 8: You will be transferred from the boat to the airport at Baltra following breakfast and after your arrival in Puerto Ayora so that you can catch a flight back to the mainland.
