The Siona Lodge is situated in one of the last unspoiled native jungles in the Amazon called the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Variety of sunsets and wildlife are seen from the lodge balconies. This is a perfect place to enjoy the magic of nature and jungle wonders. The lodge has a capacity for up to 20 people in four individual guest cabins. Each cabin has 2 double bedrooms with its own private bathroom and shower. Lounges and balconies include hammocks and chairs perfect to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings.
The Siona Lodge also includes a spacious dining area. Here, delicious dishes are served daily. Chefs take pride in their ability to prepare and serve gourmet international cuisine but also dishes belonging to Ecuador. Since the restaurant is in an open area, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy food looking out at sunsets and beautiful surroundings. The dining area lounge is equipped with a fully stocked bar so travelers can enjoy after-dinner cocktails in the restaurant or on the lounges.Ā

DAY 1 Journey to Siona Lodge by bus & motorized canoe from Lago Agrio, with box lunch on route. Settle into lodge and relax. Night walk looking for nocturnal species, amphibians & insects.
DAY 2 Visit the Siona indigenous community, learn to make Cassava from yucca, and see their customs & traditions. Canoe navigation looking for caiman alligators.
DAY 3 Morning trek in primary forest searching for interesting flora & fauna. Afternoon visit to Laguna Grande for swimming and sunset.
DAY 4 Optional early morning bird-watching, breakfast, check-out and return to Lago Agrio town.

Day 1: Transfer to Cuyabeno Bridge, the entrance to Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, from Lago Agrio. journey to the lodge by motorized canoe down the river. Lunch box on the way. In addition to learning about the Reserve from the naturalist guide, you might also see some of the native wildlife of this ecosystem, including monkeys, toucans, and parrots, among other species. Arrival late in the afternoon at the lodge. Dinner and a night walk through the main forest to see amphibians and reptiles are included in the evening activities.
Day 2: Arrive at the Puerto Bolivar Siona Community after an early breakfast to learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life. Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to help create “Casave,” a traditional yucca dish. Additionally, a visit to the local Shaman is incorporated. Return to the lodge for an early-night navigation search for caiman alligators after having lunch with the locals. A meal and a nap.
Day 3: After breakfast, we set out on a hike through the primary rainforest, where you can explore the stunning and intricate tropical ecosystem and see a wide range of plant, animal, and insect species. Back at the inn for lunch. You will travel to Laguna Grande in the early afternoon to go swimming and watch the gorgeous sunset. A meal and a nap.
Day 4: Early wake-up call for a birding excursion (this activity is optional). Return to the inn for breakfast. Return via river to the Cuyabeno Bridge and transfer to Lago Agrio.

Day 4: First, breakfast. Then, go on a two-hour paddle canoe trip down the river to Canangueno Lagoon so you can see the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve’s native wildlife. Back to the community after a hike through the rain forest with a box lunch. Early dinner and a free afternoon.
