Yarina Eco Lodge on the Ecuadorian Amazon is the perfect place to stay in when visitors want to discover the soul of nature and jungle. This accessible and beautiful lodge consists of 22 comfortable and spacious cabins that entirely blend with the ecosystem. The lodge is located within a 60 minute ride from El Coca City in a power-driven canoe. There are different cabins for different travelers: single, double, triple and quadruple cabins. Cabins on the Yarina Lodge are made with typical materials from the regions such as bamboo and toquilla straw. These materials are well known everywhere in Ecuador. Cabins also include private bathrooms with hot-water, hammocks, closets, mosquito nets and lamps.Ā
Yarina Ecolodgeās restaurant is a spacious place where guests have their delicious meals. While eating, visitors can enjoy the forest and wildlife landscapes since there are verandas all around covering the restaurant, allowing people to see the outside and letting the breeze inside. At the restaurant vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meal options are also served. Now, lodges are Yarinaās facilities with amazing views and cozy spaces. Lounges are equipped with hammocks and sofas.

DAY 1 Motorized canoe ride to lodge from Coca City. After lunch we will visit the Socali path, characterized for a variety of different jungle lands.
DAY 2 Morning trek on the Capibara adventure Trail through swampland. In the afternoon learn how to use a blow-gun, and piranha fishing.
DAY 3 In the morning learn about medicinal plants on the Dos Ramas Trail. An afternoon trip to the bird watching canopy tower. Return to the lodge. Canoe back to Coca city.

Day 1: Flight takes off from Quito and takes 30 minutes to reach Coca. After touching down, you’ll board a motor boat and travel along the Manduro River until you reach Sapococha Lagoon. Arrive at the inn, then have lunch. Visit the Socali path, which is known for its diverse jungle ecosystems, in the early afternoon, and then the Sapococha lagoon to see the amazing flora and fauna. After dinner, go back to the lodge to rest.
Day 2: You will visit the Capibara Path in the morning and right after breakfast. It is an adventurous trail with lots of swamps. Several native palm tree species to this ecosystem can be seen. After lunch, go back to the lodge. The local guides will instruct you on how to use the blowpipe late in the afternoon. You’ll use a small canoe to learn piranha fishing after this activity. A meal and a nap.
Day 3: You will paddle a canoe upstream until you reach the “Dos Ramas” trail after breakfast. Lunch at the lodge after your return. You will travel the Toucan Trail in the early afternoon to one of the tallest birdwatching towers in the Ecuadorian jungle, where you can observe numerous bird species in the forest canopy. Go back to the lodge. Return to Coca

Day 3: You will paddle a canoe upstream until you reach the “Dos Ramas” trail after breakfast. You can take a quick hike here to discover the area’s medicinal plants and various animal species. You’ll travel the Toucan Trail in the late morning. After dinner, go back to the lodge to rest.
Day 4: A breakfast call in the morning. Visit a Kichwas del Oriente indigenous family by motorboat to learn about their customs and traditions. Lunch at the lodge should be taken. Take a stroll through the “Guatusos Trail” in the late afternoon to learn about some of the local uses for forest plants and to observe different plant and insect species. Dinnertime and downtime.
Day 5: After breakfast, depart the hotel and start the journey back to Coca City to catch your flight back to Quito.
