Also called “The Cliff” (The Barranco in Spanish) and named after Prince Philipp is a, about 25 meters of flimsy steps rise to an overlook over Darwin Bay. Be prepared for the steep climb, but do not worry because you can hold onto a railing that goes all over the stairs. The climb will be worth it, you’ll get to enjoy the incredible panoramic views. During this visit, you will get the chance to see some colonies full of blue footed boobies, nazca boobies, mockingbirds and finches. Moreover, continuing on the road you may find a dark lava habitat, home for many other birds. This is considered the best place to look at short eared owls.
