This Ecolodge in the Amazonian Ecuador can only be reached by plane or boat, is located near the Ecuador-Peru border in the center of Ecuador’s most immaculate rainforest. The Sacred Headwaters region is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet and is home to a variety of Indigenous nations. The lodge is made up of handcrafted bungalows that are outfitted with professional craftsmanship and woodwork. Kapawi’s buildings are all designed in traditional Achuar style and built by the local community. Lodge bungalows are either double cabins with two beds or triple suites with three beds.
This Ecolodge also has areas for family-style dinners, happy hour for those who want to enjoy some free time to relax, breakfast, lounging after a day of adventure, reading and a meeting place pre-adventure. There are lots of private and social areas on the grounds for yoga, meditation, writing, reading, working as well as wellness master classes.
