What you need to know about the Galápagos Short-Eared Owl
Galápagos Short-Eared Owl is a stunning famous bird on this island. This little dark-brown color owl may grow to be 16 inches (40cm) long, it’s also short-eared owl populations are dwindling everywhere in the globe, but because of the Galápagos National Park’s protected status, they are prospering on the islands. These birds are exceedingly tiny and can only be seen around the center of their forehead. This distinguishing trait, which gives the bird its name, contrasts with its huge eyes and head.
